Homeowners need help when things break. Since there are 80 million homes in the US, and people spend more on their home than anything else in their life, we believe that this a problem worth solving. For some reason, our competition thought that a good way to solve the problem was exactly the opposite of the one employed by every General Contractor in the country.

As you may have already painfully experienced, they offer an ever-revolving door of so-called experts to solve homeowner’s, home owning woes. To make matters worse, rather than vet these folks, like we do in the building business, they leave that up to you. While we suppose tens of thousands of GCs could be wrong, we know, from experience, they are not.

Furthermore, as the “average Joe’s” trip to the garage has become increasingly less about fixing something and more about getting in the car to go somewhere, our collective ability to understand the fixing and the guys that do it, has also diminished.

So as the number of folks that want someone else to mend their fence has gone through the roof, their ability to understand how the fixing happens has decreased proportionately to the increase in the number of folks doing the fixing.

This has certainly created a problem of unknown magnitude, that many have been a part of. As we all know, the “unknown” can be a breeding ground for miscommunication and misunderstanding and while we do believe that most people want to get along, the simple fact is that when someone is already afraid of the outcome and doesn't understand the process, it only takes the slightest mishap or perceived such for things to fall completely apart.
